RDWS – Rural Development Welfare Society is a national level Non – Governmental Organization (NGO) working towards ‘breaking the circle of poverty in the lives people’. Since its inception, RDWS has been concentrating all its efforts on the welfare and development of weaker and deprived sections of the society. It presently working in both Odisha and Andhra Pradesh in the east coast of India.
RDWS is successfully completed 26 years of service to the marginalized poor and needy. During the years, it is channalised its energies in implementing several community based projects relating to women, small & marginal farmers those belongs to scheduled tribes, scheduled castes and economically backward communities in Rayagada, Gajapathi Districts in Odisha (formerly known as Orissa) and Vizianagaram, Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam Districts in north coastal Andhra Pradesh in the east coast of India.
RDWS is registered under societies registration Act of 1860 as on 4th January 1991 with No. 4 of 91. The organization soon got registered under FCR Act of 1976 with Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India with No. 010370049 that allowed it to receive foreign contributions. Donations to this organization are exempted for tax relief under section 12A & 80G of Income Tax Act of 1961.
